2Sides2Citys is the launch event for our 3rd Various Artists compilation — a project created to celebrate the artists behind the unique music that makes up the release.

The album features 22 tracks, all produced by South African artists, showcasing the diversity and depth of the local dance music scene.

The concept lives across two cities: Side A will take place in Cape Town and Side B in Johannesburg, connecting two of the country’s most important cultural hubs.

This year, the format shifts from the previous listening session style party. Instead of microphones and end-to-end listening, the focus moves fully to the dancefloor — celebrating dance music through DJ sets and live performances, from vinyl to 909s.

In The Box will open both nights, taking up the first two hours of the event, where audiences will experience the 35-minute production challenge from Miggy Pop (Live), Single Mother of Two (Live), Karmerr (Live) and one surprise act. Alongside the 22 artists on the compilation, the night’s will also feature special guest sets from Jed, Abby Nurock, Dokta Ooz, and Josh.dlm.

We are aiming to connect a few creative worlds – Art, Music & Fashion. The goal behind this is to make room for everyone. We are proud to announce collaborations with Art Club & Friends, Bully Boy and The Homebase Collective.
