About African Tails Founded in 2006, African Tails is a small, yet mighty animal welfare charity working in and around Cape Town, South Africa.

Having sterilised 18 000 pets to date. Our focus is on tackling animal overpopulation at its source through sterilisation, alongside rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming and community education.

With just 4 full-time staff, we’re incredibly proud of the difference we make to thousands of animals and the communities who care for them.
