Cape Open Air returns to Muizenberg Park on Saturday, 12 December 2026, bringing together some of South Africa’s finest musical talent for an unforgettable day of live music, sunshine and that unmistakable Deep South summer atmosphere!

Join Jeremy Loops for his annual hometown show by the sea, alongside a very special first artist announcement – Bongeziwe Mabandla!

One of South Africa’s most captivating musical voices, Bongeziwe has been on the Cape Open Air wish list for years, and we’re beyond excited to finally welcome him to the stage.

And that’s just the beginning! We’ve got more exciting artists still to announce.
Expect incredible live music, picnic vibes and a beautiful summer day in the heart of Muizenberg.

• NOTE: No liquids are allowed inside the venue, including water. There is free drinking water available at our designated water point, you are welcome to bring your own empty bottles/flasks to fill or purchase water from the bar.
• NOT ALLOWED: Glass, hubblies, alcohol, illegal substances, cooler boxes with liquids (water included), weapons, gazebos, sharp knives
• ALLOWED: Own food, picnic baskets, picnic cutlery (no sharp knives) camping chairs, blankets, cushions, smaller beach umbrellas. Note: umbrellas and chairs will need to be placed behind the jungle gym area as we need to be mindful of people sitting behind you that may not be able to see past you.
