WHO ARE THE GENERATION ONE?
The Cape Town electronic dance music movement began in the early 90s with a small group of passionate DJs and promoters throwing events in nightclubs and underground venues. What started as a spark soon became a movement — and these trailblazers built the foundations of a scene that would inspire generations to follow. They are the “Generation One” DJs. The true pioneers. The legends who started it all.
