Passed down from mouth to mouth, it is more than music—it is a placement of the human spirit. Doc’s early mentors were the grandchildren of slaves. Now, this journey continues between dreamscapes and songlines, between the blurs of the highway and the sounds of the wheels: The JoJo Man, naming unnamed roads, witching for water.

The JoJo Man Blues Tour—also Doc MacLean’s sixth African tour—will see him traveling over 20,000 km by land before launching north for an epic second tour leg, including festivals and concerts in Ireland, UK, and Europe.
