This time it’s all about the summer – the smell of chlorine and sunscreen, and Sum 41’s In Too Deep on repeat. That sunburnt in your long-sleeves, one day we’ll get out of this town, suburban angst at the local public pool feeling is exactly what we’re bringing you (plus some tequila water guns, who knows?)

Remember the first time you watched Grind or Blue Crush or Lords of Dogtown and you thought, hey, that’s gonna be my whole life when I grow up? I guess for one night it is.

The dress code? It’s summer so bikinis, board shorts, resort wear, snorkels, and arm bands but-make-it-emo are all on the table. And maybe we’ll throw in our very own Dashcon ball pit because we’ve been talking about that for YEARS (iykyk)

It wouldn’t be Emo Night without making it an experience that both Zara Larsson and Mark Hoppus would be proud of. To dial up the drama, we’re bringing in Cape Town drag icon @ina_propriette to turn the poolside into a runway. We’re taking drag and making it emo. Expect vogueing to Paramore, lip-syncing to Fall Out Boy, and death drops to My Chemical Romance.
