Battery Park in the V&A Waterfront is a one-of-a-kind urban park in Cape Town. Steeped in history, the area has been transformed into a dynamic public space that offers many experiences for every visitor.

On selected dates, the lawn of this outdoor park will undergo a transformation for The Galileo experience. Enjoy a magical market experience of delicious food and beverages from a mini food market, games, music and fun.

Selected Dates

The Galileo lights up Battery Park on selected weekdays. Doors open at 6 PM (unless stated otherwise for December dates —check your ticket). Movies begin after sunset.

Things To Know
Pack a picnic or visit the lovely vendors at The Galileo mini-market to purchase delicious food and drinks. Choose from a variety of meals, beverages, and tasty snacks. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and Halaal options are available. If you have specific dietary requirements, please email us at hello@thegalileo.co.za beforehand.
