The Galileo Open Air Cinema is thrilled to announce a new city venue for this season — the German International School Cape Town: DSK in Tamboerskloof.

Set against the dramatic backdrop of Table Mountain and Devil’s Peak, and overlooking the sparkling lights of the Cape Town skyline, this venue promises a truly unique outdoor cinema experience.

Guests can look forward to an evening of movie magic under the stars in one of the most iconic settings in the Mother City.

Doors open at 6 pm. The movie starts after sunset (8:30 pm)

Things To Know

Pack a picnic or visit the lovely vendors at The Galileo mini-market to purchase delicious food and drinks.

Choose from a variety of meals, beverages, and tasty snacks. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and Halaal options are available.

🚫 No bar service available on the evening — 🍷 BYOB! Feel free to bring along your own alcohol

Heads up: Parking is limited, so we recommend carpooling or e-hailing (Uber, etc). Please note that there’s a bit of walking and a few steps to access the field, and the venue isn’t wheelchair accessible.
