Home Is Where the Art Is is an intimate house concert series in Cape Town, created by and for people who love meaningful live music in warm and welcoming spaces that feel like home. This is not a noisy bar gig or a formal theatre show – it’s a close-up musical gathering where the audience and artists share the same space.

Across a growing selection of beautiful and unique spaces in Cape Town, we host regular shows with talented musicians, singer-songwriters, and poets, from up-and-coming talent to well-known artists.

Join us this Saturday, 11 April in Muizenberg for a special evening featuring Felix & The Cats, with an opening set by Len Verwey and artwork on display by Vincent Meyburgh.

About the artists:
Felix & The Cats perform a catchy and distinctive blend of folk, SA pop, with hints of reggae and poetry, infused together with uplifting and positive lyrics. Led by award-winning singer-songwriter Nur Felix, the band features Vincent Meyburgh on percussion, Andre Albertyn on bass, and Kyla Norris on harmony vocals.

Len Verwey is a published writer, poet and musician from Cape Town, bringing a lyrical and intimate presence to the evening.
