THE FIFTH INSTALLMENT. FOUR SOLD OUT. We’re back for the 5th edition of Last Thursdays – Comedy in a Surf Shop, and if you’ve been to one already, you know this isn’t your average comedy night.

Every single show so far has sold out, and we’re incredibly proud of what we’re building on Cape Town’s West Coast. A world-class comedy room in one of the most unique venues in the country: Atlantic Surf Collective.

I’ve had the privilege of hosting every single show since day one, and watching this community grow has been something really special. The atmosphere is intimate, the audiences are incredible, and the comedians absolutely bring it.

This month might just be our strongest lineup yet.

Headliner: Phil de Lange – winner of the Jive Funny Championship and one of South Africa’s finest comics.
Joining him:
– Simmi Areff – a comedy heavyweight who could headline any room in the country, joining us simply because he’s a legend.
– Kurt Langeveld – a Cape Town comedy icon.
– Lerato Sokhulu – one of the sharpest, funniest voices on the circuit.
– Alex Dreyden – Jive Funny Festival finalist.
– Hayley White – Jive Funny Festival semi-finalist.
– Marius Rossouw – Savanna Newcomer of the Year finalist.
– Ngosa Kangwa – Savanna Newcomer of the Year finalist and one of the fastest-rising acts in South African comedy.

That’s an outrageous amount of talent on one stage.

And the best part? Tickets are just R50. Less than the price of a decent coffee.

Quite a few people messaged us after the last show saying they were disappointed they waited too long and missed out. We don’t want that happening again.
