Grab your furry friends and favourite hoomans and join us on the Sea Point Promenade for a 5 km charity walk! Every step helps AACL Cape Town continue rescuing, caring for and rehoming animals in need.

Registration opens at 8:00 am, and the walk starts at 8:30 am.

Pop by our registration stand to sign in and collect your wristband before we set off.

Dogs and children are welcome!

Please ensure your dog is social, well behaved and kept on a lead throughout the event.

Give other animals space, keep an eye on your dog’s comfort and behaviour, and ensure children are supervised.

Route:

Start and Finish Point: Green Point Lighthouse

Route: Participants will start at Green Point Lighthouse and follow the Sea Point Promenade towards the Sea Point Swimming Pools, which will serve as the turnaround point. Participants will then follow the same route back to Green Point Lighthouse, where the walk will finish.

Turnaround Point: Sea Point Swimming Pools

There will be water points for our furry walkers halfway along the route.

Please bring drinking water for yourself, too.

The first 15 people to arrive will receive a special goody bag as a thank-you for their support!
