The 63 minute film contrasts the pristine, biodiverse wilderness of the West Coast (stretching from Cape Columbine to the Orange River) with desolate, unrehabilitated mining landscapes left behind by extraction companies.

It shares first-hand accounts from local fishing families, scientists, environmentalists, and indigenous leaders—including elders from the Khoi Griqua people—whose traditional livelihoods and connection to the land and ocean are threatened.

Produced by Eyeforce in association with Protect the West Coast, the documentary urges tighter legal regulations, proper environmental impact studies, and a global re-evaluation of how consumer choices (like buying diamonds) affect the planet.
