Palm to Soul invites you to Purpose, a queer and ally extravaganza at Biblio in Cape Town. This playful gathering is part fundraiser, part festival, blending the spirit of AfrikaBurn with the vibrant energy of our LGBTQ+ community.
 

Get ready for an immersive night across three levels of music, performance, ritual, and dancing, all in the name of art, unity, and a great cause. From 7:00 PM until we simply can’t dance anymore, we’ll transform the venue’s three floors into a colourful playground of self-expression. Expect soulful beats from local DJs, captivating live performances, intimate ritual moments, and an open-hearted atmosphere where everyone is welcome. Come as you are or dress up in your most fabulous festival attire; all forms of expression are celebrated in this safe, inclusive space.

For us, Purpose isn’t just a name; it’s the reason we dance together. Why Purpose? Because this party is all about coming together for something bigger than just one night of revelry. We’re raising both fun and funds to support our community and to bring the Palm to Soul art project to life at AfrikaBurn 2026. Here’s how your R100 ticket will make an impact:
• 30% Supports the Pride Shelter Trust, Africa’s first LGBTQ+ crisis shelter, providing a safe haven for queer individuals in need.
• 50% Fuels the creation and transport of the Palm to Soul art installation pieces to AfrikaBurn 2026, sharing our message of inclusion and magic in the Tankwa Desert.
• 20% Pays our amazing performers and DJs, honouring the talent and energy that will keep the night alive.
