The world of Pokémon TCG is evolving! Join us one week after the international launch of Mega Evolution: Chaos Rising for a full Pokémon Trading Card Game experience featuring Learn-to-Play sessions, casual tournament play, giveaways, prizes, and more!

Whether you’re brand new to Pokémon TCG or already building your dream deck, this event is designed to be welcoming, beginner-friendly, and packed with exciting gameplay moments.

Casual Tournament Entry
Your booking fee secures your tournament seat for Saturday’s Casual Tournament.
Entry Fee: R50 per player

What Happens on Arrival?
Players should arrive at 08:30 on Saturday morning for tournament check-in.
When you arrive:
• Find a Pokémon Professor in a lab coat
• Have your name checked off the registration list
• Receive a FREE Pokémon Sleeved Booster
• Have your deck inspected for playability and legality
• Get assistance from Professors if you need help improving or completing your deck

What You Need
• A valid 60-card Pokémon TCG deck
– A valid Pokémon TCG deck must contain exactly 60 cards.
– It can include any combination of Pokémon, Trainer, and Energy cards, but it must contain at least one Basic Pokémon.
– You cannot include more than four copies of any single card (by exact name), except for Basic Energy cards.
• We strongly recommend sleeving your cards for easier gameplay and deck checking
Don’t worry if you’re still learning! Professors will be available to assist newer players throughout the event.

Learn-to-Play Sessions
Not ready for the tournament yet? No problem! Learn-to-Play sessions will run throughout the activation, helping new players and parents understand:
• How Pokémon TCG works
• How to start collecting
• Basic gameplay and deck building
• Why Pokémon TCG is such a fun and rewarding hobby
Parents and guardians are welcome to observe and participate.

PRIZES
Fantastic prizes from Toy Kingdom will be up for grabs during the Casual Tournament!

Important Notes
• No food or drinks permitted within the active play spaces
• Tournament spaces must remain clean and organised
• Players are encouraged to arrive early for smooth check-in
