Concerts are free of charge as the Cathedral remains an open space for all, but donations are welcome to help fundraise with a minimum of 70% going to support running costs of the Cathedral, with the remainder to support running costs of the concerts. Facility for credit card and cash will be available at the door. Donations can also be made in advance here and through Quicket. No tickets /advanced booking required. Sponsorship of the Artists fees is being raised separately. Please see page for details
The St George’s Unplugged was established with two primary objectives:
To connect individuals to the historic and spiritual surroundings of St George’s Cathedral, offering an in-depth experience through music, with immediate support being raised through donations collected at the door to assist with maintenance and repairs.
To connect people living in and visiting Cape Town to the diverse and high-quality classical music industry present throughout the year.
