About Suits & Sneakers : “The Tribe Effect on Accelerating Personal Growth”

Suits & Sneakers presents: “The Tribe Effect on Accelerating Personal Growth” with Mark Sham (Cape Town Edition)

WHAT IS THIS EVENT ALL ABOUT?

For 11 years, Suits & Sneakers has been built on a simple premise that learning should be lifelong and accessible to everyone. We’ve spent over a decade creating a space where people from all walks of life come together to broaden their thinking.

BUT now we are about to undergo our biggest evolution yet as we move beyond just hosting events to building the physical infrastructure for a “supplementary economy” in South Africa. Our ultimate goal is to set up 100 clubhouses across the country. It has taken a monumental amount of effort, and every cent we have, to get our first two clubhouses in Johannesburg and Cape Town off the ground. These spaces are the result of a remarkable effort to prove that this model works. Now, we are using these first two clubhouses as the blueprint to show South Africa what 100 of these spaces could look like. Our vision is to establish these hubs in less urban areas and townships to serve as the vital link between South Africans of all backgrounds. By merging our legacy of informal education with this national network, we are taking the Suits & Sneakers mission to the next level.

On Wednesday, 27 May, Mark Sham is hosting an evening at The Tryst in Woodstock to unpack the “Tribe Effect.” This is an exploration of how personal growth is amplified when you change your environment and connect with a collective mission. It is about the power of having a tribe that supports your development and provides the shared intelligence to help you move forward.

This evening is not a sales pitch. It is an invitation to step inside the ecosystem and see how it actually works. Whether you are an entrepreneur, a student, an employee, or simply someone who is searching for somewhere to belong, this evening is for you. We are going to take you on a mini tour of the clubhouse so you can experience the environment firsthand. You will also hear from a panel of existing members who will share their stories about what it means to grow within this community. We are looking for the pioneers who want to be at the forefront of this national expansion.

THE VISION OF 100 CLUBHOUSES AROUND SOUTH AFRICA!

Suits & Sneakers started as a dream to provide informal education to everyone. Today, that dream has a physical home. By joining as a member during this intake phase, you aren’t just gaining access to a network; you are helping us build the support structure that South Africans need to thrive. Come and see what we have built so far and learn how you can play a role in what comes next.

Our goal is to establish 100 clubhouses across the country to bridge the gap between major economic hubs and the hundreds of smaller towns and suburbs that are currently disconnected. These spaces are designed to democratise access to professional resources. By having a clubhouse in your local community, you gain the same access to high level learning events, professional video studios, and business support services that were previously locked behind the gates of places like Sandton or Woodstock.

This network creates a two way street for South Africa. It allows for a seamless flow of intelligence and resources, where those with established expertise have a physical “home” to engage with emerging talent in every corner of the country. By merging our legacy of informal education with this national infrastructure, we are building a more inclusive and resilient economy.
