MUSIC @St.MARTINI in collaboration with the Cape Town Camerata presents the Knabenkantorei Basel (KKB) from Switzerland. This renowned choral institution caters to boys and young men between the ages of six months and 26 years.

The comprehensive program ranges from parent-child singing and various course levels to the 80-member Concert Choir featuring boys’ and men’s voices. Originating from the 1927-founded “Singknaben der Evangelisch-reformierten Kirche Basel-Stadt”, KKB has evolved into an independent, non-denominational entity.

The repertoire spans sacred and secular compositions, encompassing a diverse selection from Renaissance a cappella pieces to grand Romantic oratorios, along with folk songs and popular tunes.
