Step into an intimate winter Sunday jazz experience set within the beautiful cellar and tasting space at Nitida Wines. Half tucked beneath the earth and warmly connected to the surrounding estate above ground, The Cellar Sessions invites guests into a relaxed atmosphere of live instrumental jazz, glowing fireplace, oak wine barrels, rich textures, and the unmistakable warmth of a working wine cellar.

For our opening edition, acclaimed Cape Town drummer Carlo Fabe leads a refined instrumental jazz trio for two live sets designed to complement the atmosphere of the space — thoughtful music, exceptional wine, and slow Sunday conversation.

The Cellar Sessions is intentionally designed as a relaxed communal jazz experience within the intimate cellar and tasting environment at Nitida Wines. Seating is unreserved and operates on a first-come, first-served basis, encouraging guests to settle naturally into the warm social atmosphere of the room. The experience is centred around a combination of long communal tables, smaller intimate settings, shared conversation, exceptional wine, and live instrumental jazz.

Rather than a traditional formal seating arrangement, The Cellar Sessions embraces the feeling of a welcoming Sunday gathering — where music, wine, and people connect comfortably within the unique cellar space.
