A night of sonic weaving, embodied celebration, and musical storytelling. ULUNATION is about friendship, afro electronic music and elating dance.

We welcome Dr. ADO (UK & Ghana) & JÏMONO (UK) alongside our resident curators for an exquisite night of revelry and musical exploration. We begin at Biblio Listening Bar & Club’s sunlit and sublime Rooftop at 6PM, and continue the dance at Biblio’s intimate and gorgeously decorated Library Room (main dance floor).

With JÏMONO’s cinematic and atmospheric Afro Tech and DR. ADO’s hypnotically soulful celebration of Afro House and Latin Dance music, we’re in for a bountiful boogie!

About the Artists:

JÏMONO is a music producer and DJ residing in East London. Unrestricted by genre boundaries, he draws inspiration from the depth, spirit, and beauty across the African Electronic spectrum. His music bridges deep-rooted rhythms of Afro Tech with melodic expressions and cinematic atmospheres. His latest EP, Fear Of The Ordinary, has received global support, including plays at Hï Ibiza and Fabric London. JÏMONO has gained international DJ support from artists like Djeff, Kitty Amor, Dr Feel, and more.

Dr. ADO is a Ghanaian, London-raised DJ, singer, and producer with over 2 million streams worldwide. Founder of Casa de Afro, he celebrates Afro House and Latin Dance music across Mexico City and beyond. His latest release, “Starlight” with BOKKIEULT and Anjunadeep, blends soulful vocals with hypnotic grooves. His music has been featured on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Kiss FM, and Netflix Originals. Dr. ADO was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Essex for his contributions to creativity and philanthropy.

About ULUNATION:

ULUNATION is a collective-run event and Afro House/Tech experience, presented by a community of dancers, DJs, and afro electronic enthusiasts. The event transforms club culture by creating safe, warm gathering spaces for Cape Town music lovers to dance, connect, and release. “To ululate” means a sound resembling a howl, often used to express strong emotions like grief, joy, or celebration. ULUNATION represents a united group of people who come together to express these emotions through elevating dance and afro electronic music. Celebration. Care. Collaboration.
