
Bhekumuzi “Bheki” Mseleku is regarded as one of South Africa’s greatest jazz musicians. A virtuosic pianist and multi-instrumentalist, as well as a celebrated composer, his musical impact is still felt today both at home and abroad.
Mseleku’s music is fiery, spiritual and sophisticated, and it has inspired a generation of musicians in this country and abroad. In this tribute, we share and celebrate the music of this seminal figure in South African jazz.
