The Cape Wind Ensemble was established in January 2023 by Faan and Kim Malan to provide playing opportunities for semi- professional and advanced amateur musicians in and around Cape Town. Its mission is to play quality wind ensemble and chamber music repertoire at a high level.

Their next concert will take place on Sunday 20 September at 16:00 in the St. Martini Church, 250 Long Street, Cape Town.

The programme will include the well-known Serenade for Winds by A. Dvorak, the Sinfonietta no. 1 for Winds by J. Raff and three movements from the celebrated Water Music Suite by G.F. Handel.
