dawjee trio – a recitation

This sitting brings together Muhammad Dawjee (tenor saxophone), Sean Sanby (upright bass) and Lilavan Gangen (drums). Its title gestures toward music not only as performance, but as a practice of reading aloud: sounding what we’re hearing, remembering what we’re trying to re-member, and making room for the moment.

Set in the intimacy of Erin Hall, this evening is an invitation to attentive listening and shared presence.
