Amici de Lumine presents a tribute concert in honour of Dr Martin Watt, celebrating his contribution to South African choral and compositional life.
Founded in 2010 by Michaelangelo Cloete, the choir has become known for its luminous, ethereal sound and its commitment to sacred music and the works of emerging composers. Drawing together singers from all walks of life, Amici de Lumine will present a selection of works, some by Martin Watt, whose legacy as an educator and former Head of Composition at UCT remains influential.
The first 100 UCT students receive free entry (early bird), after which UCT student tickets will cost R50.
