Inspired by Enzo Mari’s Autoprogettazione and his radical DIY philosophy, this playful, hands-on workshop invites children to think like designers and makers. Can a chair become a sculpture? Can cardboard solve a problem? Through building, experimenting, and reimagining everyday objects, children explore form, function, and creativity using simple materials and big ideas.

Can a plastic bottle become a hat? Can a spoon become a fidget spinner? Inspired by the Wunders Mmakspace philosophy of conscious upcycling and reinvention, this playful workshop turns waste into wonder. Using discarded materials, children will invent sculptures, curious creations, and unexpected objects — proving that imagination can give anything a second life.
SCRAP SELFIES! With LEZA

Make a “selfie” from scrap fabric and trims. Every portrait is unique which speaks to the little artist in them. They start by drawing a simple face on cardboard and then they explore colours, patterns and textures from our waste stash that represent aspects of themselves, cut simple shapes and layer them onto the cardboard with glue. Their portraits can be embellished with buttons and trims. Lots of play and imagination!
MAKE A MONSTER – with LEZA

Make your own monster from textile waste using a running stitch. We provide pre-cut fabric shapes, numbers, and letters for the kids to assemble themselves using a running stitch which they can stuff and decorate however they feel inspired to!
