Hosted by the Botanical Society of South Africa (Kirstenbosch Branch) in partnership with the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI), this inspiring public lecture brings together leading voices in environmental practice and conservation.
Featuring Guest Speakers:
– Francois Krige (Arborist & Tree-Care Specialist): With extensive hands-on experience in managing and preserving trees in urban and cultivated environments, Mr. Krige will explore:
* The vital role trees play in climate resilience
* How we can better protect trees under environmental stress
* Practical approaches to sustainable tree management
– Clare Burgess (A complementary expert perspective): Our second guest speaker will add further depth to the conversation on climate action and environmental stewardship, offering additional insights into conservation, sustainability, and ecological resilience.
