Sea Point Community Walk | Menstrual Health Awareness
Join Project Her for our free Community Wellness Walk on Friday, 29 May at 6PM as we walk along the Sea Point Promenade from the lighthouse to the Sea Point Pavilion Pools.
This walk is not just about movement and connection — it is also an awareness moment for the work Project Her is doing on the ground. We are working to support primary school girls with access to reusable sanitary pads and provide menstrual health education, dignity, and long-term support. This is about addressing period poverty, breaking stigma, and ensuring that young girls are not held back from school, confidence, or opportunity because of something natural.
We believe every girl deserves dignity, access, and care.
Whether you come with friends or come alone, you are welcome here. Attendees will also enjoy a complimentary beverage proudly sponsored by Monatea.
The event is free, but registration is required for headcount and safety purposes. We can’t wait to walk with you.
