Join us for a really unique evening at Embodiment, where we give true substance to our name with a real sense of embodiment through rope, using the flow of moving a body as well as the breath.

Much of the learning of rope skills, by necessity, is about rope techniques or patterns. On this evening we will use simple rope ties to focus on moving the body and breath of your partner, enabling their true, felt sense of embodiment, a dropping into the body and creation of deep sensations of relaxation and surrender.

This jam is beginner friendly and also very useful even if you are not specifically interested in rope bondage. We will learn to create a sense of flow, of connection with yourself and with your partner, attunement, co-regulation and co-creation of a state of being that is both exciting and relaxing – taking control of your partner’s body, or allowing your body to be moved and moulded, all while maintaining ways to breathe that allows you to deepen into the experience.

In this class-to-jam we will explore all these topics with demo and info, share a beautiful Rope-and-Breath session and transition into playing with body position flow. Expect deep relaxation, connection and quite possibly lots of laughter and fun.

Experienced practitioners are warmly invited to come hang out, practice and share some skills.
