Saxophonist Rus Nerwich is well known for his eclectic melding of various jazz influences, from 50’s hard bop to free jazz improvisations. Having played with many of South Africa’s greatest musicians including Carlo Mombelli, Marcus Wyatt, Lulu Gontstana, and Herbie Tsoaeli to name a few, Nerwich has the depth and conviction to let the music take charge.

Rus will be playing a variety of songs from his albums Mantras4Modern Man, as well as The Wondering Who. With a love for standards, you can expect some classics, like Stella by Starlight and the beautiful, Peace by Horace Silver
