Hayoung Choi, the gold medallist of the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Belgium (2022) and first prize winner of the Krzysztof Penderecki Cello Competition in Poland (2018), will perform the work that won her the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition title. Korean-German cellist Choi brings her exceptional talent to Cape Town for this special performance.

Bernhard Gueller, conductor laureate of the CPO, shares his deep connection with Bruckner’s music, presenting this rich and romantic work that showcases the composer’s mastery.
