About Autumn Symphonies at the City Hall

Conductor Arjan Tien and soloist Hawijch Elders (violin) present a captivating evening of classical music with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra.

Programme:
– Wagner: Lohengrin Prelude to Act 1
– Sibelius: Violin Concerto in D Minor, Op. 47
– Ravel: Daphnis et Chloé Suites No. 1 and 2

Arjan Tien makes his debut as the CPO’s principal guest conductor, joined by Dutch violinist Hawijch Elders, regarded as one of the great musical talents of her generation. This concert promises an unforgettable experience for classical music lovers of all ages.
