Marianne Thamm has worked as a journalist in South Africa for over 40 years. She has also published widely both locally and abroad. She is currently an Associate Editor/writer/journalist with the leading online publication, The Daily Maverick. She is also a regular columnist for Daily Maverick’s print weekend version, DM168.

Together with journalists from the Daily Maverick, amaBhungane and News24, Marianne was part of the team that worked on the Guptaleaks. Marianne is an award-winning writer and has now discovered performance journalism in the interests of sanity. She is also a non-executive board member of the Suid Oosterfees, a mother, a dog lover and a constant gardener.

BOOKING NOTES:
If you can’t get the table configuration you want and end up booking seats on different tables as a result, please do so under the same email address and we’ll automatically put you together on one table. In fact, any seats booked under the same email address we will assume are together and arrange seating at one table. If this is not the case, however, or if you are booking with friends under different email addresses, just let us know and we’ll make a plan to seat you together. If the event appears sold-out, or you want to add to an existing booking, the same applies – just drop us an email to events@caferoux.co.za and we’ll do our best to make a plan!
