My thoughts on the game:
England, as usual, had the biggest mouth of all the Rugby Nations last year. All their talk was how theirs was the only scrum that could match the mighty Boks. They went on to have one of the worst 6 Nations campaigns in history and I, for one, just laugh at their hubris.

Having said that, it is the first game of the season, our Golden generation of Boks are getting a little on the old side and the Brits are definitely going to have a chip on their shoulder and will want to try and match us physically.

Either way, it’s an absolutely brilliant opening to 2026 Test Match Rugby and I CAN’T WAIT…
