
Join the V+S team for an educational walk and talk in and around the cultivated wild herb gardens, farm and fynbos mountainside in search of wild flavour at the Veld and Sea HQ in Cape Point. After a wintery walk, warm up back at the Glasshouse with a hot cup of fynbos tea and wild greens soup.
WHAT’S INCLUDED:
– Fynbos chai tea on arrival
– Educational winter plant walk and talk, learning plant names and culinary applications
– Light lunch of soup, bread and seasonal ferments
– All participants will leave with any plants they have foraged
– Follow up PDF notes and recipes

– Relax in the Glasshouse and read through our mini wild library after the walk
– A selection of edible and medicinal indigenous plants will be available for sale for you to cultivate in your own garden

– A basket and scissors/secateurs
– Notebook and pen
– Water Bottle and extra snacks/drinks if required
– Warm winter outdoor gear (the event goes ahead in the rain)
– Waterproof comfortable walking shoes/boots
