Nate Levinrad is one of the most compelling new voices in South African stand-up – sharp, silly and self-aware. In his debut one-man show, directed by South African comedy legend Conrad Koch, Nate traces the messy, hilarious, and often contradictory experience of growing up white and liberal in a conservative small town.

Named one of the 20 funniest new comedians in the country as part of the 2025 Savanna Comics’ Choice Newcomers Showcase, Nate has quickly built a reputation as one of South Africa’s most compelling new comic voices. He has performed across Cape Town, Johannesburg, Makhanda, and even San Francisco.

He is also the co-founder of That’s Not Funny, the award-winning comedy platform that was awarded the Savanna Comics’ Choice Show of the Year in 2025.

Takeaways is his debut one-man show.
